Amy came to Microsoft in 1996. For the first 9 years of her HR career at Microsoft, she held various HR leadership roles in compensation, performance, and talent management. In 2005 she left Microsoft, worked in consulting and then followed the start-up movement to become the CHRO of Medio Systems.
Upon her return to Microsoft in 2009, Amy was an HR Leader for Mergers & Acquisitions and helped lead over 60 company transactions including acquisitions, partnerships, joint ventures and divestitures. In 2013 she moved to be the HR Leader role for Cloud + Enterprise. From there, Amy led HR for the Finance, IT and Operations space until becoming a General Manager in HR in 2016 for Consumer Channels, Mobile Devices, OEM, Developer Evangelism working with various leaders in the Consumer, Sales and Marketing space around the globe. After the company went through a significant restructure, Amy moved to Partner with Kurt DelBene and Kevin Scott, both direct reports to the CEO, to lead HR for Core Services Engineering, Operations, Corp Strategy and the office of the CTO.
In 2018, Amy took on her current role leading the Corporate Functions HR team.
